ABOUT ME...
I’m Nicole, a mummy to three little girls, wife to Andrew, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, interior designer, business owner... the list goes on. We all know what it's like, having to wear lots of hats, all of the time!
I’ve had a passion for interior design, for as long as I can remember. Having completed a BA Honours Degree in Fine & Applied Art at the University of Ulster, I interned with a renowned interior design company, Bahdeebahdu, in Philadelphia. This experience really helped me to sharpen my design skills and witness the transformative effect that great interior design can have. I came home to Northern Ireland to settle down and start a family of my own, all the while, I was being quizzed daily on where to source reasonably priced furniture and how to choose paint colours, by family and friends, who simply didn’t have access to interior design help. For them, using a designer had never been an option - long considered something elite, inaccessible, expensive and time-consuming. This was when I decided to turn my passion into a career and Interiors by Nicole became a reality.
My aspiration is to take away preconceived notions and fears of what’s involved in hiring an Interior Designer. I offer affordable, accessible interior design, sourcing primarily from the high street and online, taking you on the journey to making your house a home. My design process is framed around you, I adjust to your needs, no matter if you want top quality, great value, or the look for less, always working within your budget.
